Welcome to the National Telepresence System Online Booking System!

The National Telepresence System (NTS) is a secure, high definition, digital video conferencing system that provides a high-quality spatial audio and video experience for its users. The NTS service operates on the Ministerial Communications Network (MCN) and enables meetings up to and including the security classification of SECRET.

The NTS supports audio and video connections for 29 agencies across the Australian Government and states and territories. Telepresence Facilities can be accessed by government staff of all levels.

The NTS is available to Australian Government Employees.

Use of NTS devices must be booked through this Online Booking System.

Create An Account

For first-time users, click on Create New Account and enter your details using your '.gov.au' email.

The MCN Service Desk team will approve your account within minutes. You will recieve an email with login instructions and a temporary password. Once you have signed in you will be prompted to update your password.

Please note: In accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, personal information collected by the Department of Finance (Finance) from you will be used to allow Finance to administer and manage the Online Booking System (OBS) for the National Telepresence System (NTS). Finance will collect identifying personal information about you (such as your email address, name or phone number). You are not required to provide any other personal or sensitive information. If Finance does not collect this personal information from you, Finance will not be able to provide you with room bookings under the OBS. Finance may disclose your personal information to its ICT contracted service providers, to ensure that it can continue to maintain and administer the OBS to the highest standard. Finance will not provide your personal information to an overseas recipient. Finance may be required to share your personal information with other Australian Government entities or as otherwise authorised by law.
